English version
Yehoshoua-Jesus Is Alive !
This Shabbat was a High Shabbat
This Shabbat was a High Shabbat
This Shabbat 18th Day of the 1st Month according to the Torahic Solar Calendar is the Commemoration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Yehoshua.
John 19:31:
“The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, FOR THAT SHABBAT DAY WAS AN HIGH DAY, besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.”
Contrary to what some people imply the Apostle John is not talking about the non-working day of Passover here, no let me prove it to you.
If the Apostle John speaks of this Sabbath as a High Day, it is because it is the Day of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Yehoshua.
Matthew 12:40
“For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
We know from historical sources that the preparation for the weekly Shabbat mentioned in the New Testament Biblical writings does not begin on Friday but on Thursday, indeed the Jews kept the tradition of beginning to wish Shabbat Shalom on Thursday.
We have confirmation from the writings of Socrates
Book 5 chapter 23:
"On Thursday and Friday which is called preparation; that is, the day before the Sabbath..."
Why, did the preparation begin on Thursday?
Simply because at that time, preparing the Shabbat was much longer than today, because it was necessary to go to the community ovens to cook the dishes of the Shabbat, if ever to kill and prepare an animal of the livestock and that takes time, to go to the wells to fill the jars of water to bring them in the houses, ect... two days were thus not of too much to make everything ready for the Shabbat
Then, for all the detractors, here are some simple scriptural and archeological facts that demonstrate what I am saying.
- The women went to the Sepulchre on the morning of the first day of the week (Sunday), there is no dispute about this, which proves with certainty that the day before, which is the Day of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Yehoshua, is indeed the weekly Sabbath (Saturday), this is an incontestable fact.
- Yehoshua-Jesus stayed 3 Days and 3 nights in the grave, no dispute possible
- Yehoshua-Jesus rose on the 3rd day, no dispute
- So when we count backwards from Sunday morning at dawn
Saturday 1 Day
Friday 1 Day
Thursday 1 Day
Wednesday evening burial
Wednesday Day of the crucifixion
Tuesday evening Meal of the Lord Yehoshua-Jesus and His disciples.
- So it is certain that Yehoshua-Jesus ate the Pesach meal on Tuesday night because it is well confirmed in the Gospels that He ate the Pesach Seh.
- We also know with certainty that the Passover of the Essene Jews according to the Solar Torah Calendar always falls on a Tuesday night, 14 Aviv.
- It has been identified by archaeologists that the upper room identified as the one where Yehoshua ate his last Passover meal is located in the Essene Jewish Quarter.
So no, the Apostle John is not talking about the non-working day of the Feast of Pesach when he speaks of the Great Sabbath because the day that Yehoshua was on the cross was the first day of the Feast on a Wednesday.
Wednesday evening was the beginning of the preparation for the weekly Shabbat because the Jews of that time began to prepare for Shabbat on Thursday, the evening of Wednesday being included in Thursday. Preparing for Shabbat was much longer than today with the modern conveniences that we have.
The expression "Great Shabbat" that the Apostle John uses is never used in the Torah to designate the Days off from the Holidays.
Everything makes sense here when we understand that Yehoshua is Risen on this weekly Sabbath, is it not justified to call this Sabbath of the Resurrection a Great Sabbath? Of course it is, it is more than justified !!!!
Understand well then that Yehoshua was delivered on Tuesday evening, the evening of Pesach on the 14th of Aviv because He ate the Passover according to the Commandment of the Torah and according to the Torahic Calendar that the Essene Jews followed, read Matthew, Mark and Luke in opposition to the follow-up of the Passover of the Pharisees on the follow-up of another calendar, read John.
Then the next day on Wednesday the 1st Day of Unleavened Bread where a Sacrifice for the atonement of the sins of the people must be offered, Yehoshua was put to death.
Then on Wednesday evening which is therefore the beginning of Thursday because the Day in the Bible begins the evening before, going from one evening to another, it was therefore the preparation of the Shabbat, He was put in the tomb.
Wednesday night to Thursday night = 1 night and 1 day = Preparation
Thursday night to Friday night = 1 night and 1 day
Friday night to Saturday night = 1 night and 1 day = Resurrection
He resurrected on the 3rd day therefore on Saturday Day
This Shabbat was a Great Shabbat!
All the Glory the Honors the Praises the Thanks and the Worship go only to YHWH-YEHOSHOUA-JESUS our King Lord and Savior and may His Glorious Reign Come, Amen
